After researching the market no other tool is designed for, or claims both uses.

This ergonomically designed handle provides comfort and reduced effort for the user.

The “handle” can be applied to many uses and applications, via fixed or even interchangeable tool heads.

An excellent example is the garden tool market as featured in this page.

Currently, Gardeners have only 2 choices or categories of garden fork:-

A: Full size standard garden & building tools.

( Too large and heavy for weeding out beds and borders, beause they are designed for use when standing up and general digging over of soil, rather than weeding out.)

B: Small hand tools.

( Too small and often uncomfortable when weeding, often causing sore red marks, or blisters in the palm of the hand, with exccessive strain on the wrist )

This handle provides a solution as the first mid-sized tool that services this mainstream market gap in garden tools

It also meets the increasing demand for the female user, senior citizens, and some infirmity users, world wide.

This is achieved by its design which allows effortless change from one handed use to 2 handed use as the work requires.

The garden fork application has been subjected to extensive usage and testing to arrive in its current form by a professional gardener.

It has proved that tasks such as weeding can be performed much faster and with less effort.

The body of the handle has been designed to give greater comfort during use by spreading the work forces (such as digging out weeds) through the lower arm area and allowing the upper body weight and muscle groups to be applied, combined with the hand grip which keeps the arm, wrist, and hand in the natural physical comfort position to reduce stress on joints.

The arm is cradled with minimal support by the strap and the baton grip is fully adjustable for any user and can also be rotated to any preferred position.

This overall design will also meet the needs identified by many charities and studies of subsistence farmers which includes predominately women, who need suitably designed light weight medium sized tools.

It is also a very effective tool for the many global users who require single handed tools due to medical conditions or injury, particularly in areas of military conflict.
